<h1>Digital Hoops</h1>

Digital hoops is a hula hoop performance project where performer's motion is tracked in real time to update their environment.

Motion tracking is applied with Eyesweb, to extract interesting features (Quantity of motion, Center of Gravity...).

Data is then normalized and dispatched to vvvv and a music software to apply a range of effects:

  • virtual synthetizer
  • music variation (pitch, tempo...)
  • projections

mrboni: I meant a gpu version of B-Spline (3D Surface). I only found an approach using bicubic filtering on a texture (dx9 gpuparticles)
