RayComposer ILDA DAC Node

plugin dmx laser

about

With this node you can use RayComposer Laser Show DAC devices in your vvvv patch.
Seehttp://www.raycomposer.de/en/ilda-dac-interfaces/raycomposer-usb/ for more information.

RayComposer USB Device Features: ILDA Standard Projector Interface; 16 Bit position & 12 Bit color resolution; 6 color channels; sampling rate from 1 - 200000Hz; USB High Speed 480MBps; integrated DMX output and DMX input interfaces.

On modern Windows OS the devices work out of the box without further driver installation. (For older OS down to Win XP a driver is available.)

See the included help Patch "RayComposer (Devices) help.v4p" for usage hints.

The node should work on both x86 and x64 versions of v4.

this looks interesting, where can I buy a raycomposer and how much does it cost? the website leaves no information about that

sunep 21/08/2015 - 12:36

could you make an examplepatch or a help patch to illustrate how it is suposed to be used in vvvv?

afrob 21/08/2015 - 15:43

Tried to create a demo patch (have to admit that I'm a complete noob patching in vvvv): http://download.raycomposer.de/vvvv/Flovvers.v4p
Recorded on laser with my phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NkIqqvHxh4
Just create some spread with the position/color information, then trigger write frame - the laser will show it.

Wrote you an email since I can not attach patches to this thread. I will post them once we can do that again.

everyoneishappy: @overtones this would require 4D noise, which is possible but not implemented in Fieldtrip

overtones: Hi! SF2D has Time & DomainOffset inputs, but SF3D only DomainOffset. Is there a way to use Time in SF3D or it makes no sense? Thx
