i just realized there is some camera to texture test inside. you can just delete this to gain performance. ill upload a clean version later.

check the file below downloads, there is a bin folder inside with plugin and helpfile. thats it, like any other vvvv plugin.

This I have already done. I put the SurfaceInput.dll in the vvvv/bin or in the plugins.
When I open the helpfile there is only: Two Vector, Transform, Quad and Renderer Nodes. Should there not be a SurfaceInput. If I search for such a Node there isn't one in the list.

I use the vvvv40beta22, a version from this time of Surface 1.0 and which uses SlimDX9.

Still not work with vvvv40beta22 or 23, SlimDX9 and Vista SP2 and the SurfaceSDK 1.0 on the MS-Surface1.0 :( The SurfaceSDK works fine.
Do I have to run anything else with vvvv?

I work in the Admin Mode of Surface, not in the User Mode.

Should there not be a SurfaceInput-Node?? If I search for such a Node there isn't one in the list!!

yes there should be a plugin in the patch. why do you use outdated v4 versions ? i just started the help patch inside the bin folder and even on my laptop is a surfaceInput node....without having the SDK installed.

You right, with vvvv45beta25.1 it works fine. But now I couldn’t use the old plugins ☹ They are not working in vvvv45, so I have to program everything new. Thanks for help.

one idea, you could run two v4 versions at the same time and send the SurfaceInput data via OSC (localhost) from one instance to another. not very elegant though.

@Alec for tablet just use DX11 Render, it can output touch position xy.
