antokhio 25/05/2012 - 05:49

ths bo!

m4d 25/05/2012 - 14:11

sweet!

u7angel 29/05/2012 - 12:50

very nice indeed.

one thing, it would be nice to have a mesh output rather than ex9 layer, or even better, the plugin as dynamic?

cheers

bo27 29/05/2012 - 19:23

@u7angel

please find a source at alg's github page:

https://github.com/smakhtin/DrawSmooth

unf, we comletely removed mesh from it
mesh was super hungry for cpu and hadn't proper texture coords.
so it was mostly unusable.

@DiMiX, Noir, antokhio, m4d
thanks)))

motzi 30/07/2013 - 12:13

i'm having problems getting this to run.
no red nodes or strange tty output whatsoever, but when trying to draw nothing happens.

tried this with b27.2, 29.2 and 30.2 on win8

thanks for any advice!

gaz 19/08/2013 - 16:57

Same as Motzi - no draw!

bo27 20/08/2013 - 15:15

gentlemen, there is wrong dependencies in the plugin. thats why for some it works, but for other - it isn't.
we have no resources to fix it now/soon
sorry for that.

please use sources from algs github page to fix it by youself https://github.com/smakhtin/DrawSmooth

or ask alg if he will find time for this

thank you for understanding and patience

alg 20/08/2013 - 21:56

If someone can post issue with test case on GitHub, it will be fixed. Also, i think i didn't published the new version, with small empty space fix.

Issue should include v4p file, or if it's crushing on default file, please send log from Renderer (TTY).

zepi 08/04/2015 - 23:28

Hm, this works on my old Windows 7 machine, but on my newer Winodws 8.1 machine: no drawing. :(
Does this work for anybody on Windows 8+ ?

joreg 09/04/2015 - 02:56

jep works. just tested with b33.7_x86 on win8.1
do you get anything in tty?

zepi 09/04/2015 - 19:55

Weird. I'm running the same V4-version + the same OS-versions here - > the pillow texture is visible, but no drawing. No complaints in TTY.
(Win8.1, multiple versions 33.7 down to 32 - in 64 and 32 bit versions, Optimus hardware (!))

My other machine (Win7/64, b33.7_x86 plus any other version) plays the help-patch as expected.

sansui 20/07/2015 - 14:09

don't works in vvvv45beta33.3 x86 + win8.1

mindthegap 28/04/2017 - 16:31

I tried to compile for 64bit, failed at a library which I did not get linked.
Maybe someone has fun (or for money) to convert that into a dynamic x11 plugin.

Martin Romeo 24/01/2018 - 12:05

@bo27
Hello,
It don't work on 64bit version?!
I am training with the version: 35_x64.

bo27 24/01/2018 - 15:11

hi @MartinRomeo
no, it don't
we do not support this contribution anymore, sorry

Nexus 28/02/2018 - 17:59
