hehe very nice one gonna do max version of this ;]

kalle 22/05/2011 - 02:43

nice,
without knowing c4d:

shortcuts are definitely more intuitive than the ones we used since 2003 :D

roman_g 22/05/2011 - 15:37

:) nice....better control!

dawoof 24/05/2011 - 18:59

hhahaha damnit i really needed this yesterday, but on a second thought i need this anytime using vvvv, thnkas for this

fibo 25/05/2011 - 00:03

nice,

consider to use the CTRL+M to edit author, description and tags ( now author = vvvv group since you started from the softimage Camera ) then add it to svn ( if you don't want to install tortoise svn I can do it for you under the catweasel folder ), so this useful module is included in the addonpack.

You can still keep this contribution for development purpose.

hi antokhio,

you can check my 3ds contribution and maybe take something from it.
it is not perfect but a few things are cool about it.

for example you can use all controls simultaneously and switch between them.

camera-transform-3ds

watch out - there are cameras falling from the sky!

catweasel 25/05/2011 - 12:11

Cool :)
Thanks fibo, I always forget the ctl+m...
but then don't often make modules as such, I tend to subpatch, and then reuse and alter a lot, so modules would been I broke old patches with new, or have a million versions...
I have a slight update to do, added a shift as well antokhio :) just after I'd posted this version, (see paragraph above...) but will add the control inputs too maybe...

DiMiX 28/05/2011 - 02:06

very nice catweasel, i like the control keys, but strange behavior sometimes: pressing Alt + left click calls up new black render window in front of all.
checked on two laptops

cznickesz 24/06/2011 - 13:55

Nice on... it´s funny that i´m so used to the "1"/"2"/"3"-Key
kind of steering the camera in c4d that i didn´t even recognize
one could use alt and so on. :-) And i´m using c4d for ages now
(more than 15 years).

Call me blind or dumb or call me ignorant, hehe.

I guess i´ll do the alternative one day....

Nevertheless. Good to see some guys bothering about the
(in my opinion) not so perfect Camera(Softimage).

Perhaps the whole thing could be transferred into a plugin...hmm..with assignable keys...hmmmmm...

Anyhow: Thanks, catweasel
