"El mono de la tinta"
6-channels electroacoustic music with live video
2009
First piece from a larger project (work in progress) about animals described in the "Book of imaginary beings" by Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges.
"El mono de la tinta" ("The monkey of the inkpot"), according to Wang Ta-hai, is a little Chinese monkey who drinks what is left of the ink after somebody has been writing.
This is a stereo version of the original 6-channel electroacoustic piece.
Built in vvvv ( www.vvvv.org ) and Max/MSP ( www.cycling74.com ) connected via OSC.

»Bagatelle I« is the first of six music videos produced by schnellebuntebilder for the saxophone quartet sonic.art.
As unusual the production of a music video of a saxophone combo is, as experimental is the combination of digital and analogue tools.
The astonishing and impulsive moments of György Ligetis' composition was visualized by audio reactive and generatively created graphics and accomplished by hand-drawn animations.
