The 2015 Survvvvey

helo patcherpeople,

look what i found: openFrameworks 2013 survey results. that made for an interesting read so i thought we can rip that off and have our vvvvery own. you in?

what struck me though is that they only got 368 respondents, which doesn't seem a lot. can we get more? here is the URL to promote:

looking forward to getting a better idea of who we're dealing with here all the time.

Hey!
Insert Italian documentation!
Indeed, I would like to know if I've wasted my time translating documentation.

As usual with surveys it's very frustrating to fit you answers into the options you get. What you can get out of it will only be as good as the way you phrase your questions and possible answers.

Specially in the license part I think you could get more valuable data with more/better options.

@h99 sorry, that slipped me through. now in the options. thanks for pointing out
@beyon of course. so please point out what we can ask better next time.

sunep 23/01/2015 - 13:52

Perhaps adding the option of both asking and answering questions in the forum question. And not just either or

joreg 23/01/2015 - 14:39

@sunep: right, added that. shouldn't be too late..

sebescudie 23/01/2015 - 14:46

done x)

maybe you should add a "no" option in the question about c# plugins?

joreg 23/01/2015 - 14:53

@sebescudie: that was definitely there at some point. back in now. thanks for pointing it out.

h99 24/01/2015 - 15:40

@joreg thanks

I'd suggest to make a new thread in forums talking about this, so that there are more chances for people to fill in the survey.

joreg 24/01/2015 - 17:10

@h99 not sure what you mean. but feel free to start a thread..
