In two sessions, Irwin Quemener takes you from using TextureFX, vvvv gamma’s library of GPU texture operations, to writing your own. The topics range from feedback effects, texture-driven displacement of 3D geometry and color grading to authoring custom TextureFX in SDSL and using them for compositing, object placement and touch interaction. By the end, TextureFX is a flexible tool you can bring into your own generative, compositing and interactive work.
Both sessions take place on December 1st and 2nd (Tuesday and Wednesday), 16:00 to 19:00 CET. They run live and online, and the recordings stay available for at least a year afterwards.
