Invitation to join the competition in the spirit of “Lumina”

The “Visual Music Award“ is a contest for young artists in the range of film and animation. We are looking for visual interpretations of music through artistic visualizations following the principles and the spirit of “Painting with time” and "Lightsoundsymphony”. The contest serves as a commemoration of the visionary vanguard experiments of the representatives of “Absolute Film” (.eg. Oskar Fischinger).

The 10 best out of the submitted music visualisations are honoured. Three winners will receive prices inclusively an exceptional price.

The three winners achieve non-cash prices. And as a highlight all ten awardees and price winners are invited to the price ceremony in the cocoonclub in Frankfurt (Main) in the course of the 10th eDIT Filmmakers Festival 2007. Deadline will be September, 9th 2007

soso, what do we have here..
MySQL database access...ql, and all the rest is basically boring bugfixes again. but be sure to browse through \girlpower which hides some new gems.

we decided to have one more quasi-stable release before all the vvvvacko ahead. still too hot to be served...

make sure to read through the Change Log then get it from the Downloads page and leave us some bugs in the vorums.

bis bald.

vvvvolks.

We are very sorry for the last couple days. Due to attacks we had to take the vvvviki offline until we had found an acceptable solution for. We are now running the latest stable tikiwiki release, which has a lot of bugs fixed... for detailed informations about see tikiwikis chagelog.

If you find anything weird, not clear, missing, totally cool, nice to have on our vvvviki... please let us know in the vvvviki support forum.

Coached Workshop at Hyperwerk (Basel, Switzerland) this july.

The goal was to design a new audiovisual content for a previous installation: nomadix. The nomadix installation is composed of seven inflatable, motorized “screens” in the shape of a cone. The devices consist of a beamer, a computer, speakers and a motor for each of the two axis of rotation.

(nomadix1 project website)

Following students participated in the project: Markus Abt | Jan Dusek | Leander Herzog.

Download this video from Jan Dusek to see a beta version of the content and the programming of the cones. Or catch this upcoming boygroup live at ars electronica in linz from 30.8. to 6.9.
