good days,

as promised, early this week here you are. this is the first addonpack. for now containing only plugins, modules will follow shortly...

credits go to all who contributed. it is a massive first pack: 65 individual plugin-nodes! among them such jeweles as:

  • an implementation of the Bass Audio Library including support for ASIO devices
  • Tablet (Devices WinTab)
  • WiiMote (Devices)

to name just a few of my personal favorites. a complete list of included files is in the download \bin\addonlist.xml

note that the plugins are not yet integrated in the wiki-ReferencePages, but will be soon!

now it is your turn to test and report problems. all further infos concerning addons should from now on be found on the dedicated AddOns page.

This very simple effect is needed just too many times. I bet people have been repatching the behaviour of a slideshow many times. Even a Slideshow might be a cheesy way of presenting things, i believe you will need it from time to time. If you want to add features, patch it and start a vvvvorum thread. This is version 1.

Slideshow (EX9).zip (6.00 Mb)

  • Directory based image cascading.
  • Image and Video support (incl Video2Video blending)
  • arrage your assets in subfolders => different chapters
  • Ken burns effect
  • easily change the transition effect.
  • Control Videoplayback (skip forward-backwards, play/pause/volume)
  • outputformat is a Layergroup

have vvvvun.

привет!
finally.

yes we can. see: Log of Change!
a little bit here, a little bit there.

been also working hard to get the plugins integrated in the release cycle and indeed in a view days you should be able to download the first addonpack. plugin developers please read AddOns-Packaging?, prepare their code accordingly and test it against this release. if all goes well we should be able to release the pack early next week.

Hi, we are the Chinese branch of SYMA (www.syma.com.cn), a global service provider in exhibitions and events. We are looking for partners/vendors/suppliers to work with us on a regular basis in multiple projects involving advanced interactive installations in China. This could be part-time work by freelancers, or formal contracts with suppliers involving remote development and setup on location in China.

We are also looking for full-time staff to be based in Shanghai (project management).

If you're interested or know someone who can provide this kind of service, please contact me at ricardo.andrade@syma.com.cn.

Not sure if this is the right place for a post like this - apologize if it's not.

Thanks
Ricardo Andrade

holahola,

so what do we have this time...see for yourself: Change Log
nothing big, but thanks to our intern elias a lot of fixed bits and some new funky set-theory nodes. also check the enhanced Expr (Value) node which can now deal with arbitrary variable inputs.

now have a good patch.

yours.

dear audiophiles and ordinary maintainace release lovers,

you might want to check that out:

  • audio ON: now you can plug your favorite VST instrument / effect into vvvv. also have a look on the waveplayer patches in \girlpower\+Sound.
  • patch OFF: there's a new commandline option "/shutup" to finish your project in a clean way. only renderers are displayed. only the ALT-F4 shortcut works.

also:

  • FUZZY stuff: Ctrl+F1: ##vvvv on irc.freenode.net now should work always and from everywhere
  • SUPERTRUE: browse the nodelist.xml to get all the facts about your beloved nodes

all the best!
all the devvvs,
all the group
