The School of Interactive and Algorithmic Art is proud to announce the first ‘Digital Summer School’ which is to be held over consecutive weekends in August at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield (UK).
Subtitled ‘emergent languages systems and software for algorithmic and interactive art’ each weekend will focus on a different piece of software and is hosted by a leading practitioner in the field. The workshops are aimed primarily at professionals working in this field and require a strong working knowledge of interactive and generative systems.
On the 10th - 11th of August, gregsn will be hosting a introductory workshop to vvvv.

this will be a beginner level workshop for students who wants to get into graphical programming with vvvv. also interaction with physical devices will be a small part. the workshop is held by jannis & milo.

let's call this a bug fix release for vvvvs 4th anniversary. phew..and still beta. will we ever make it to a final? who cares..
vanks for bearing wiv us for so long and put on warm clothes for something still to come. a final? probably not. anyway it takes some more time. you'll be the first to know.
We are very sorry for the last couple days. Due to attacks we had to take the vvvviki offline until we had found an acceptable solution for. We are now running the latest stable tikiwiki release, which has a lot of bugs fixed... for detailed informations about see tikiwikis chagelog.
If you find anything weird, not clear, missing, totally cool, nice to have on our vvvviki... please let us know in the vvvviki support forum.

Zum dritten Mal beschäftigt sich das Kulturlabor Stromboli in dem 2003 gegründeten Projekt „ton~strom“ mit zeitgenössischen musikalischen Strömungen abseits des Main-Streams. Das Projekt, welches vor allem als Plattform für elektronische und elektroakustische Musik ins Leben gerufen wurde, macht im heurigen Jahr das Zusammenspiel von Bild und Ton im Rahmen von Live-Auftritten zu seinem Schwerpunktthema. Präsentiert werden interdisziplinäre Projekte von elektronischen und Live-MusikerInnen, Video-, Medien- und PerformancekünstlerInnen.
