Traveling, observing nature, capturing its secrets and admiring this happiness means - living. _Fedor Vasilievich Gebler

200 years ago, on January 16 (28), 1820, by a Russian expedition led by Thaddeus Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev, who on the sloops "Vostok" and "Mirny" approached the ice shelf at 69 ° 21 ′ S. sh. 2 ° 14 ′ W HGЯO Antarctica was discovered.
The discovery of the continents is unique. It is comparable to flying to another planet. Unique species of creatures live there.
Now this historical fact evokes a complex mixture of feelings of delight, anxiety and hope for a better future for the cold continent and its inhabitants.
We exist in an age of global fleeting changes affecting all aspects of the existence of life on our planet.
The history of the discovery of new spaces has taught us to admire natural nature, which has created forms of life that are perfect in their beauty. A sincere desire to realize this beauty, to continue the possibility of existence given by nature, can help in our global expedition.
Dedicated to the study of territories and properties of the surrounding reality.

The work "Time of Melting" was created within the framework of the #Artantarctica project.

Работа "Time of Melting" создана в рамках проекта #Artantarctica.

Previously on vvvv: vvvvhat happened in December 2020

First off,

there's been the 2020.2.5 release.

But now we finally also have a Release Candidate for 2021.3, the upcoming version including the shiny new 3d engine based on Stride.

Even before this one is released you're asking what's next?! How on earth could vvvv be further improved? That's what we're planning to answer in a separate blog post soon.

Until then, let's hear it from the working groups:
