I'm a freelance graphic designer / web-programmer / VJ from The Netherlands.

11-2005: I'm currently experimenting with some VJ software packages like Resolume and I've recently discovered VVVV. At the moment I'm trying to build my own patches and experimenting with stuff that other VVVV users have built.

02-2006: Finally I'm starting to understand the V4 basics... I've been doing a lot of patching/experimenting lately.. I've learnt a lot from the patches that were submitted by other users.. Thanks guys! Everything I knew was wrong! ;-)

Some examples of the stuff I'm making:

ChaosTheory 0.1b - Sound Reactive Visuals
ChaosTheory 0.4b
SoundReactive 0.1

Patches & Modules:

BCR2000-Midicontrol (Devices) help.v4p (35.43 Kb)
I finally managed to do some Midi experiments. I bought a BCR2000 a couple of months ago, for use with VVVV, but never used it before.. So I hacked up the BCR2000 patch that was made by 020200 and TonFilm and added some stuff to understand how midi works and how to work with more complicated spreads (I used MidiController, MidiControllerOut, Cons & Scroll for the first time..)

This help patch features all buttons that can be used on the BCR2000, even the "virtual" encoders within the four encoder groups at the top row. The values of 52 buttons and 56 rotary encoders can be set and read from the patch.

Tonfilm kindly provided a good solution for the "Midi I/O sync" problem (when connecting the midi input and output nodes to the same spread). The solution is to use the DX9 renderer for the sliders and toggle buttons, which looks much better too!
