32 years, experimenting digital art in Angers, France.
Some work in progress.

GUI

Basically it's a 2 way patchmixer based on a patchswitcher by catweasel
So there's still a need to fade to black during patch loading.

Beta version should include:

  • 2 way A-B mixing, differents blending modes
  • File selector for patch loading, all patchs have the same layout in/out
  • FFT 4 channels, Max Peak used to remap FFT4 between 0 and 1, gain and damper control
  • Different FFT Cut: global, A or B
  • BPM Tapping
  • 8 global sequencers (16 steps, steps from 1/2 beat to 8 beat)
  • 4(8 ?) waveform based on BPM (waveform can follow a sequencer)
  • each way A-B have 8(16?) buttons which can be driven by a sequencer
  • each way A-B have 8 sliders which can be driven by a waveform
  • ..
  • anything else in my mind until it's finished (randomly coming: postprocess FX, global videoin to use in texture A and/or B, midi input, video player ?, ..)

Everything is built with touchscreen in mind, single point, only left clicking, sorry that's all i have :)
(i'm thinking about a sort of "right click emulator zone" to assign sequencers and waveforms..)

Release date ? when it's done..

There is still many works, many performance optimization to do: centralize all gui elements, use spreads more wisely, ..

Many thanks to the vvvv community

and especially for this project:
anachronik: get the max (value)
catweasel: patchswitcher
elektromeier: beatstreet (animation), digits (dx9)
sanch: gui (dx9)
tonfilm: FFT4Channels (DShow9 Resample)
woei: dir/file selector

TobiTobsen123: hmm yes i can see the values...but how to handle them as seperate values? I need to forward them via TCP/IP...

joreg: @tobi: OSCDecoder helppatch has a section: OSC_Advanced (bottomright) that demoes decoding of multiple messages

TobiTobsen123: I'm using an OSCDecoder, it receives two arguments...works but how can I seperate the arguments into two seperate values
