FreeFrame Plugins

Framebuffer 1.0 (dynamic background subtraction)
framebuf-dynamic-background-subtraction

tiki-download_file.php?fileId=747blacktrack0.2.zip (20.55 Kb)</a> beta version, more features to come
BlackTrack looks for the brightest and darkest pixel within a video image and outputs their coordinates. Only specified grid points are taken into account to have scalable performance/resolution.

future implementation:

  • video image mask to surpress certain areas
  • background subtraction
  • multiple points

Whats the point of this plugin? Well, i often use such low-level processing to track things. Take a videoinput, mask the nonsense, do background subtraction and track the rest. And all of this with little cpu consumption and quite reliable.

common application is headtracking with a ceiling cam.
