FileStream (DShow9) plays back *.mid files. Connect the Midi output pin to MidiOut (Dshow9) to send the midi stream to any available midi device.

therefore:
+set it to a high value (ie. 999)
+you will notice the patch still receiving messages after your stopped chaning values on your midi-device.
+set it to a lower value; even 0 can make sense here.
a value of 10 is chosen as default for most situations where you don't have to many midi-messages floating around but still want to make sure to receive all of them.
