nice one, dEp! :)

i ported a cubic distortion / chromatic abberation effect from francois tarlier (who seems to be a very nice guy btw..) some months ago ago. if anybody would like to have it i could put it up as well.

sebl 07/02/2011 - 14:51

i'd like to see it :)

Lightmare 07/02/2011 - 16:27

yea absolutely!

dottore 07/02/2011 - 16:33

come on m4d! ;)

m4d 07/02/2011 - 16:58

did not mean to hijack dEp's thread here, but i'll put it on when i get back home from work.. ;)

edit: found some strange kind of unfunky behaviours in the shader. (actually bo did) i'll try to fix them and post after that. so it'll be 1,2 days more ;)

xd_nitro 07/02/2011 - 17:04

xd_nitro 07/02/2011 - 17:05

mrboni 08/02/2011 - 14:10

This might fit nicely in your forthcoming shader colossus mk1 Dottore....

stulloyd 13/02/2011 - 14:06

I thought I recognised that Image!!

Beat me to it (uploading the shader that is, mine was shiftRGB modified)

But that screenshot is from my first shader (credit to Vade for his explaination of Chromatic Abberation)

stulloyd.

dEp 15/02/2011 - 15:39

stulloyd: go ahead and edit this contribution if you have made some improvements! :D

dl-110 15/02/2011 - 16:05

nice one dEp!

stulloyd 17/02/2011 - 18:27

Oh, Im not bothered, infact quite the opposite.

Just found it amusing I had done nearly the same thing, and you used my image.....;)

my shader scales the red up and the blue down slightly to give the abberation look,
