Interactive Exhibit for Mini

On behalf of MKT AG MESO Digital Interiors realized the interactive counter "Style is all over" after the concept of our partner Hielscher Lungershausen Design GmbH to introduce MINI´s latest style features to its fans at Autmobilsalon Geneva 2011.
In a drawer under the counter several model cars were placed ready to be touched by the visitors. Both, model cars and hands, were tracked by a camera and projected on the counters surface. Each model car was related to a different style feature, e.g. interior material and exterior style. By touching the different model cars under the counter the visitors were introduced to the various style features of MINI that were layered on the projection of model car and visitors hand on the counters surface.

schneider+schumacher are among the most prominent contemporary architects in Germany, having built a slew of important buildings all over the country, and especially in our mutual home town. Having collaborated before, it was a natural for us to help them add a digital twist to their solo exhibition at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum D.A.M.

LED-systems and solutions provider Traxon contracted MESO for motion design on the new representative Uniqa headquarters in Budapest, Hungary. The façade is equipped with 80,000 LEDs separated into 6 rows between the windows.
In the first step MESO implemented a vvvv based playback system for digital content and produced a ten minute animated sequence for the façade. Various updates and special event scenes have been produced. The system is prepared for further interactive content and can be extended by a content management system. The LEDs are connected to a vvvv based server via the e:cue eNet protocol. Several thermal sensors adjust the brighness of the LEDs to reduce heat emissions on already hot days.

Interactive BMW X1 Ski-Simulator

In cooperation with Expolab and MKT AG, MESO developed concept, motion- and game design for a Ski Simulator.
Joy is at home on every slope. Have a go yourself: jump on the skis in the simulator and enjoy a high-speed descent from the summit to the valley. Originally developed for the BMW show in Hall 11 at the IAA in Frankfurt, to present the new BMW X1 MESO developed, designed and realized a branded computer game.
Visitors can step onto one of the two ski-simulators and have a ride at a virtual slope, joyfully crashing through various obstacles and collecting points. Catching magic targets gives extra points and triggers special xDrive and EfficientDynamics messages. Various speed cams around the track will take photographs of the players if they drive too fast. A selection of some images can be seen at IAA Blog.
